We are very proud to have been breeding cockapoo's here in San Diego from 1998.

We also produce lovely first and second generation American Cockapoo's.
All the Cocker Spaniels and Poodles that we breed from are beautiful AKC dogs!

The Cockapoo originated as a hybrid between the Cocker Spaniel and the Poodle. They derive the most desirable characteristics from both breeds. Like the Poodle they get a beautiful,  non-shedding, hypoallergenic coat and a very high level of intelligence. From  the Cocker Spaniel, they get a warm, loving, patient, and forgiving temperament, a strong sense of loyalty, and a mellow disposition. The Cockapoo is the perfect dog for people with allergy problems, for families with small children, and for those who wish to have an adoring companion whose goal in life is to make you happy… we have been breeding Cockapoo's since 1998 here in San Diego, Ca and many of the area Cockapoo's breeders got their start with our pups! Our Cockapoo's are carefully bred for health, disposition and overall beauty, giving you the opportunity to share many years with your family pet. Their upbeat personalities and sweet temperaments are sure to keep you delighted for many years to come! They are highly intelligent little dogs excelling in obedience, agility and countless other activities. Our puppies and adults are top quality and are in excellent health. Most of our moms & dads have champion pedigrees.

For many years, the Cockapoo has been considered a hybrid between two other breeds. A Cockapoo produced by a Cocker Spaniel mother and a Poodle father, for instance, is considered a "first generation" Cockapoo. When two "first generation" Cockapoos get together, their offspring are considered "second generation", and so on. I am a member of a breeding group that would like to see the Cockapoo recognized as its own distinct breed. Toward this end, we are breeding only the "cream of the crop" Cockapoos on out to the fourth generation, at which point we will be able to petition the AKC (American Kennel Club) to recognize our dogs for their own merit as a well respected breed. We breed only dogs who pass very stringent physical and temperamental examinations. We are also very careful to never allow a breeding between two dogs who are in any way related. We check our meticulously kept records to ensure that our lines stay pure, strong and healthy.

My daughters have come of age and taken their place within the family business as our second generation cockapoo lovers they are going on with the love of the cockapoo breeding and training. It is in their blood as it is with us. We love the joy we receive from all the family's we've touched in the last 12 years.
